If you read the manga, he used to wear his mask since he was a child. Yes this image is a made up image of him without his mask, there’s an episode in which Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto try to see him without his mask, it was hilarious. There are many images like this one all over the net.

Aww.. I thought there was an episode that was out that actually showed Kakashi without a mask.. He probably wears a mask because Konoha’s White Fang(Kakashi’s dad, Hatake Sakumo) wears one. Why does he wear one? That we’re not sure because nothing more than the fact that he is Kakashi’s father is explained within the latest manga.

Hope that they don’t Kanayuna, that type of reveal would most most likely occur only minutes before Kakashi would die in the series. Its kinda a rule of anime.
But, considering that most of the proportions line up with the faint outlines of his mask, that is probably a close fit for what he actually looks like. Gratitude that he never had some sort of a horrible disfigurement.
He seems like the type to have something to hide, why else would it be left on even when he is unconscious in a hospital bed.
Nurse or Doctor must not wanna look at it.
